The Hindu Council of Birmingham, with the support of Birmingham City Council, has organised an event for the over 20 years and this year the location has been changed to the city’s popular New Bingley Hall.
The New Bingley Hall will be transformed into a vibrant and colourful arena featuring a stage area, an exhibition area, arts centre and workshops, which will bring together dancing in tune to captivating rhythmic music, colours and lights.. The true spirit of Diwali is to bring different communities together so that new relationships may be born.

A dedicated Kids Zone comprising facing paintings, cartoon shows, mask making, games, competitions and a music and dance workshop to keep the children entertained. It also offers exhibition opportunities.
All in all the event, which has a huge number of attractions to suit all members of the family and all members of the community, is a joyous celebration that has significance and meaning for all of Birmingham’s communities.
It is an opportunity to celebrate the most important festival in the Indian calendar in a city which is home to many diverse faiths and cultures.
